Tips for Homebuyers

I perform property inspections according to the Home Inspection Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. I also offer ancillary inspections. These are additional types of inspections that you may be interested in hiring us to perform for you. Feel free to ask me about additional inspection services.     I do an thermal inspection during all property inspections, a $195 value!

I am a Master Inspector trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification. I also hold the national home inspector certification and commercial certification.

At the end of the inspection, we will produce a written inspection report for you. The report will be easy-to-read and clear to understand. Included are pictures of the systems and components of the home and building that we inspect. We will also provide a summary of the defects that we observed during the inspection.

About Us

I love being a property inspector. During my inspections, I follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice. This means that I’ll inspect the visible and accessible structure, systems and components of the home, inside and out, from the foundation to the roof, using the latest tools and technology. I enjoy teaching my clients how their home works and how to maintain it.

What's Inspected

A home inspection is a visual examination of the home's major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible.

During a home inspection, the following systems and components are inspected:

  1. Interior, exterior, walls, windows, and doors

  2. HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)

  3. Basement, crawlspace, and structure

  4. Fireplace

  5. Roof and attic

  6. Electrical

  7. Plumbing

Meet the Inspector

I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the proud owner of Integrated Home and Environmental Inspections. This venture marks the next chapter in my journey, coming right after I parted ways with an incredible company in 2023. With a track record of nearly 7 years in the field, I've completed upwards of 1500 property inspections.

My background in restaurant management has finely tuned my eye for detail, a knack for time management, and people skills. On top of that, a decade-long involvement in residential and commercial construction has deepened my understanding of everything from a buildings foundation to it's most intricate elements, all the way up to the roof. It's these combined experiences that provide me with the expertise needed to offer you the most exceptional inspection for what could be your biggest investment.

When I'm not immersed in inspections, you'll find me enjoying the great outdoors through camping trips with family and friends. If my schedule allows, I'm all in for woodworking, golf, and skeet shooting. While my wife and I take immense pride in parenting two remarkable boys, it's our furry family members- Brooke, Manny, and Milo- who tend to keep us on our toes.

I look forward to working with you and ensuring the utmost quality for your home inspection needs.
